Julio Iglesias Ungo studied at E.N.A in Havana from 1995 to 2001, graduating as a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. He was a principal dancer and resident choreographer at Danza Contemporánea de Cuba. In Europe, he performed with companies like Ultima Vez and Les Ballets C d l B. He participated in Documenta Kassel in 2005 and 2022. As a choreographer, he created works for various companies and events. Iglesias Ungo is also a teacher, known for developing the "Inner Tools" technique. Julio César Iglesias Ungo has been developing his own dance company, creating works that explore mental worlds and human behavior with surreal aesthetics. Based in NRW, and supported by Tanzhaus NRW and Pumpenhaus Münster, his notable works.
