ANTHROPOSCENE investigates the possibilities of planetary control in the Anthropocene. Using technologies from artificial intelligence, the project examines the potential of artistic strategies within an exclusively scientific discourse. Rotterdam Presenta and Ensemble LINKS present an experimental music theater happening between discourse and destruction. They aim to transform the theater space into an ecosphere, a laboratory that, unlike Buckminster Fuller‘s famous spaceship earth, has at least some emergency exits. The framework, however, is the same as on the planetary scale: a closed space full of people, limited time, and uncertain results.
