Felix Bürkle, born in Freiburg in 1975, is a freelance choreographer and performer. Coming from the circus, he studied dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. His productions move between object manipulation, juggling, dance and performance. For him, objects, especially everyday objects, represent points of reference and connection in the work process. They offer the opportunity to see the human subject and the space in a different context. He is interested in shifting perspectives that lend new dimensions to the seemingly familiar. The starting point for his work is reflection on the nature of things and on himself - inspired by the questioning and redefinition of the familiar.
