A woman looks out the window.
Has her husband left her? Was she really born in Ukraine? And what is the name of her dog?
The production by DOSSIER 3-D-Poetry plays with fiction, truth and potential truth. How is perception manipulated, and so also what we think of a person or situation? Is it important to know if a woman is a mother, if she has no job, if her home is surrounded by desert or fruit trees? This jungle of attributions, interpretations, reality, fiction, and manipulation is brought to the stage by Cologne dancer Marion Dieterle. By means of dance, texts, and handmade animations, supported by a soundtrack by Ralf Freudenberger, she entangles us systematically and with a pleasantly droll humour in a net of what we are supposed to believe and what we want to believe.
